To whom the longhouse friends shall listen to?

I am very impressed by the longhouse friends;they are so friendly and humble.The hospitality they had shown during our mission trip captured my inner heart.Friends,thanks.I managed to remember two names,Sebastian and Nicholas,both are students.

But I will never forget about the sampan ride.On the verge of vomitting,I regretted to accept the invitation.But my friends enjoyed it very much.Sebastian,you got a handsome fish harvest .That is fantastic.I should have stayed back for few more days to join in the catch.But,friends,may be in August,I will head for the longhouse again.

During the election campaign,longhouse folks are always caught in dilemma;they are confused as all political parties will go to them for campaigning.Friends,I believe that you all are smart;you know who is really caring and concern over your affairs,be it education,medical facilities or the handling of official documents.

Friends,strive for higher education as for knowledge wise,the sky is the limit.Your hospitality is always treasured in my memory corner.

My first mission trip to longhouses.

After the CGM on last Friday,I was impulsed and touched to participate in the mission trip .The destination are longhouses.My dream of visiting a longhouse is finally fulfilled and I set off with great happiness and excitement.
There are 15BnS in our trip.This last minute decision may be a bit "impolite"to other members but all BnS are so supportive and I soon am in good company.
A blessed drive and we arrived at the first longhouse.

Our pastor,Pastor Jonathan.He and his wife are very anointed .Pastor ,thx for ur hospitality that made our trip so blessed and meaningful.

Emmmmm,this is our first destination.Though quite tired after the 5hrs drive,we all were thrilled .I realised my dream and finally got this golden opportunity .

A wooden staircase leads us to the longhouse which is built on uphill.
The outermost varendah.


Hah,r u impressed by this spacious inner varendah?This is a venue for welcoming guests and most probably a place for festival gathering for the longhouse friends.I should have enquired more but due to my tiredness,I just "lengang lengang"around,in quietness.


The sitting room,very neat,spick and span.Modernised and equipped with basic luxuries.
Though being told we had taken our lunch in town,the friendly hosts still prepared the lunch.Friends,I enjoyed vey much the foods,esp the rice.Thx.

Nenek is having childre ministry with full enthusiasm.The lovely kids r paying attentively to her songs and lyrics.Good work ,nenek.






The market .there are many stuffs for sale and most are new to me .Huh,........

This is one type of snails .They got from the river.Very tasty.I love it .Many who dare not try were convinced to taste and finally finished all .Hah!

Dangerous sudden turn at Tudan Bridge

A Rainy day.But we still went for light teatime at Senadin cafe.When I drove on the Tudan Bridge heading for Tudan,suddenly a car from Tudan direction made a sudden turn to the right.No signal light to announce the turning.I put emergency halt to avoid head on collision .Of course fierce horns applied to express anger. But the driver seemed not a bit bothered as she just comfortably continued her way to the kampong under the bridge.Huh!cold sweat.....

It was then understood that accidents frequently occured at Tudan Bridge.The heavy traffic jam and the narrow 2 laned bridge irritate some road users .So accidents happened when some tried to jump the long queue.

Can the authorities concerned do something about this to deter the drivers from Tudan direction to make sudden right turnings and also overtaking at the bridge?How about make road divider at thos part of the road?

Poverty invites more social problems,whose faults?

Miri ,with a city status, has quietly or unnoticeably created more social problems.The utmost obvious is the blooming of more squatters house.The theft,burglary and snatching matters are in the increasing rate as well.

The uncontrollable high priced commodities or necessities have aggravated the situation.The government has failed especially in this area.The waive of electricity bill belowRM20 has done not much help to ease the poverty problems,as far as we all understand.

Our government is always trying her very very effort to eradicate poverty matters but to no avail.So far,it is known that only Singapore government is successful in this aspect.The public utilities and the transportation benefited almost every Singaporean. But our country has worsened the poverty state due to many factors;the political instability,the serious corruption,and many others beyond we civilians' understanding or knowledge.Look at the photos shown.The dilapitated ramshackle huts made of wood--------it is only fit for human habitation during fine weather.A strong wind will sweep the whole hut to else where.What can they do?what can we say?Who should be blamed for all the squatters'houses ?

debate????

It was my hobby to attend debate during my schooling days.Of course,I was one of the speakers.After being informed of the debate between Mr.Wong and Mr Tiong,I was not a bit excited at all.But that was totally my own business and I don't mean to offend the supporters of either side.

Now it was known that Mr Wong had won the debate.But what matter me the most is that had the genuine message being relayed to the public?If you attended the debate,can you furnish me with a bit of what you have earned from such debate,especially between two Chineses from different political parties?

Both sides were emphasing on the point of "frog hopping"and of course,opposing such idea. But it was not on eye-to-eye but on eyeball-to-eyeball stand,from different "right" perspective.

So,after the grand debate,what was the harvest?What do the civilians gain? I think we are more "keliru" and I need to buy more PANADOL to ease my headache.:P

Air liur meleleh ............

Anjing kesayangan saya,whitetie,selalu dinampakkan dengan air liur meleleh selepas

berjalan untuk selama setengah jam. Ia suka pergi jalan-jalan dengan tuannya.Setiap

大家都要记得，3月3 是个非凡的一天；

因为Perak的紧急动议是在一棵大树下举行的;

这棵大树希望不会有天被唯恐天下不乱的人抗掉；

Thank goodness,a huge tree is nearby for the Emergency Meet.
