A person who has influenced me a lot.(AN Extract only!)

The Master Chief is a warrior in the year of 3011,fighting to pull humanity back a step from extinction.He is a special marine,trained with extreme precision and knowledge. He has had a hard life when he was a boy.During the time of his youth,he was secretly abducted by the government to become a subject in an experiment.He lost his parents,a crushing truth that almost broke his spirit.In years to come,he trained hard and underwent countless genetic implants in his body.When I read the book,I was shocked when I read the statement:"during the incursion of the experiments,he could feel his bones break like glass and his skin peels off like paper".He suffered a lot but he never gave up.He never gave up his hopes,dreams or spirits.That is what makes him a hero in my eyes. Through that,I have learned that I should never give up on what I believe in.

Moreover,he was not alone.He had friends who had also undergone the torturing experiments.In another field exercise,he said,:No one is going back to camp alone.We must stick together.We must work together.No man gets left behind!"to his fellow teammates.It took a lot of skill and heroism to lead and command. He had those skills to make his team of friends escape the exercise alive.A hero that cares about friendship,fellowship and cooperation is truly a hero.He makes me realised that a friend in need could indeed help you. He has also taught me that cooperation could last through sun and rain no matter what obstacles prevent us from our goal.
Although the government gave his friends and himself numeral figures as names,he never forgot his original name,John.Moreover,his numerical reference name was John-"117".He even called his friends 'assistance by their true names. Through this,we should never forget where we come from.We should never abandon our nationality,hometown and most importantly,ourselves.

Furthermore,he had never shown his cowardice. He had courage beyond limits and this made him brave."Bravery is not about fearing nothing but going through what you fear without making a step backwards,"a statement he always used to boast the morale of his team during the war. He even faced through hordes and armadas of enemies.The key to his survival was not weaponry or high-technological gadgets,but something a person had to acquire by himself,bravery.He did not destroy the enemy because he liked to kill or he was paid to do so. He did it as a duty for the sake of his race,the human race.This inspires me to do what is right for my beloved country and hometown.

During the battles he had gone to,he was not a relentless killer.He taught his team to plan before a strike.He always used his brains over his brawns."don't fight stupid,fight like a real warrior,who plans and conquer,"it rang in the minds of his teammates.John's many experiences during the war had taught him to trust his instinct,rather than the sayings of other people.Believe and trust in yourself. A good plan can mean life or death.

Master Chief Petty Officer,John-117 is a legendary hero,not because he has caused many casualties in his enemies,but because he has bravery,cooperation,forgiving spirit and helpful teammates.I know no one on earth could be like him,but I always trust in John.
