My WM friends came to Miri for a visit.Being the host here,I brought them sight-seeing.After few days of mini-touring the city and the out-skirts,they expressed their disappointment over the infrastructure here.They wondered why Miri is so under-developed though carried a CITY status.Felt ashamed,I was speechless.They then asked about the stands of the opposition parties.Hmmmmmmm,what shall I say,friends?
They said the bumpy roads linking the main towns are simply a ashamed sight as Miri is well-known as oil-town .What a drastic difference between Miri and Brunei as far as the road condition is concerned !!!!!!Our dear governing government,what shall we ,as civilians ,say so as to protect the fame of Land of Hornbill?
We missed the chance to explore the famous Mulu Caves as there is simply no ROAD linked to such popular site.Friends,I am so sorry but I blamed our government for neglecting the so-basic needs of our people here.Wait for the next trip as most probably the road will be available then.
The incapable government ,by all means,is to be pointed for the poor infrastructure here,in Sarawak.We sincerely and earnestly look forward to a caring and devoteful government so as to upgrade the infrastructures .
