Recently I went to visit my friend.We talked about the price increase of the white bread and the rice.We were both disappointed and frustrated as all these happenings are beyond our control.Really?Yes,it's true that Malaysia cannot grow wheat,but how about padi?From Geography,we learnt that Kedah is the largest padi producer of our country.The question is why our government still needs to depend on foreign supply of rice for we Malaysians.As compared to China,the population of Malaysia is small.China is self sufficient as far as rice is concerned.So what 's the problem with our country?If u know the answer,u r welcome to drop a few lines for me.But my immediate solution to the new price of bread n rice is to eat less,eat less,eat less!!!!!!
