Whose fault?

My friend's mum was weeping when relating the whole happenings to me....To listen is what I could only do .After all,I am a good listener .

Her son had disappeared into the thin air;leaving the wife and three toddlers .Being the only winner of the daily bread,they were all in financial crisis.The sudden blow to the family has brought unbearable burden and fear to the loved ones.Tears and sorrow hovered over the family.

He had a stall, selling fried noodles,in the town .Though the global economic crisis had hit our country,he still had a promised handsome income then.His customers just loved his dishes.He was a lucky man.

But who can promise life is always a bed of roses?

He loved gamblings,be it football match,super-sweep or magnum.His greed had multiplied as years went by.Then his "friends"invited him to bet in cock-fighting.For your information,he did all these without the knowledge of his dear wife.Life went on.

Out of no where,a group of strangers appeared at his stall one day,smashing everything that came into their way.He could not do everything but only pleaded for some more time.Only then he confessed to his wife that he had owed a huge sum to the private loan provider.What then followed was needless to mention here........

The cars were towed away for the debts;the hi-fi set,the air-conditioner...whatever that they demanded had to be surrendered.But that was an endless pit.The mother and the wife had sold all the valuable stuffs but the debt was still there.The interest was piling up mercilessly.

The whole family was in fear and broken-heartedness.

The poor mother even attempted to borrow from her relatives so as to help her son to pay for the huge sum.It was too late to apologize or feel regret;the damage was done.

The noodle business had to be stopped due to the frequent harrassment from the nasty group.That worsened the situation as then there was no income for the family.

Now he was nowhere.But it does not mean that the family members are in peace;they are continuously threatened .

Irresponsible man,cruel people or this is life,I put no comment.

Sincerely pray that God will shelter them and has mercy on them.
